Family Heirloom Dresser

This little dresser need a fresh look and my customer did not have a clear vision of what she wanted so I described my vision for the piece and her eyes lite up. 

The top drawer has beautiful inlay around the edge so we stripped back the old varnish on the drawer as well as the top. The top had a couple spots where it was scratched through the veneer so I choose a bit darker stain to help make those spots less noticeable. 

The body was painted in Wise Owl One Hour Enamel Antique Villa.  The handles were "shined" up by applying a metallic wax.
