Upcycling at its best
This narrow vintage door caught my attention stuffed in a corner of a store. You could see multiple layers of paint and the beautiful crystal knob.
As I began envisioning it as an entryway piece, I started digging through my stash of items that I have collected over the years for pieces to pull it all together. The shelves are made from shiplap we took out of a 100 year old house. We removed the metal knob and replaced it with a glass knob. Then I pulled out an antique mirror with beveled edges to complete it. I left the back of the door as we found it because the history was there with dates in each of the paint colors. I love how all the random pieces came together as a uniformed, one of a kind entryway table.
