This buffet is 80+ years old, made from solid wood and comes out of the Art Deco time period. Furniture during this time period became more than just something useful, it was a piece of art in your home. Do you notice the curved edge on the top? That is the distinguishing mark of the Waterfall design used often in the 1930s and 40s.
This lady is ready for a night on the town. She has been painted in a deep blue and her adornments have been highlighted in a subtle brush of white. The original handles were painted a matte silver as the finishing touch.
