This trunk has seen many years of neglect which we find endearing. After multiple washings to clean away the years of grime, we sealed the chest inside and out. Our desire was to leave the character so we white washed the body and left the top as we found it. This would be a great talking piece as a coffee table or storage at the end of a bed. Make sure to check out the "history" we left on the bottom.
