If only this tool chest could talk. I would gather close to hear its stories.
It is obvious that it belong to Maurice Ivan Fougel because his name appears on the lid and his social security card is attached inside. The chest was full of surveying tools so that was his occupation. It also appears that years of bearing a heavy burden has caused a slight twist in the box.
The box was scrubbed to remove years of dirt and grime. Then the outside was sealed to preserve the appearance. Hairpin legs were added bring an industrial appearance and raise it to a sofa table height. Finally the inside was conditioned with Wise Owl Furniture Tonic.
Measurements are 36"W x 13"D x 31.5"H
